vines and ivy are niggers
this one patch of ivy, not sure what species, fucking nigger internet is useless with these ad shit websites so theres no way to actually tell what plant you are looking at.
this invasive ivy patch out in the desert chaparral is brutal...
its gross, i dont like it.
but its interesting to see how it works.
this thing is an environment changer
its managed to survive uber brutality summer and drought. its fucking adapted. this is probably not common among its species, its could also be an uncommon trait, to put it simply. OR also there could be hidden water source feeding it. but given the size of the patch, not too sure if thats likely or not.
the desert chaparral out here is wonderful but its also brutally hot and bone dry,
this ivy patch does not give a fuck. the temp at the patch is NOT brutal at all, not in the least bit. its amazing. you wouldnt think something could overcome the power of the blazing desert, the chaparral, but it has. very noticeable how its taming the area, overtaking it.
the ground is fucking damp. out in the open chaparral.
well the area is nested in whatever its called, like the crack between two mountains or hills. its like a micro-valley, but this is bone dry territory with blazing hot sun. i shouldnt be able to hike from a crisp aromatic furnace down to a pleasant spring day in vermont.
it just doesnt seem right
