I thought Haya Harareet was well cast. She had believable vulnerability and courage, which were needed to sell the part of Esther. It was the right call to avoid a big name. Kim Novak wouldn't have been horribly out of place with the right makeup, but she wouldn't have had the same naïve charisma and persuasive conviction.
Yeah, reading fiction is a total waste of time. Make a movie and call it a day.
