really like this tv
it runs off android, or google tv as its called now, so there is an entire OS running ontop of my OS.
its a noticeably strange configuration
they display itself is a fully contained computer with display, sound, usb, internal storage, memory, cpu, wifi/bluetooth, etc.
im not used to that, its like im playing with too many computers.
well actually it handles great. the android OS is seamlessly integrated with the firmware of the actual display and you control most of it through quick menus which pop up. or you can fully switch to the android OS at the push of a button
the way sony designed this is actually great, i wouldnt be surprised if it were the best implementation of any goggle OS on TV.
this is the ultimate thing to have for a TV. cant imagine fiddling with samsung OS or roku garbage. and i dont believe apple TV has anything actually built inside any units
my only complaint is that i dont believe the TV fully turns off.
it wakes up way too fast, as if only the screen turns off but the android system is always running
