i didnt read all those diablo 3 posts
because the game really looks stupid. this unfortunately is undeniable fact.
but now i regret not reading them.
anyway, stunlocking everything is maximum gangster.
i cubed this effect from a helm which gives 300+ damage to hydra, but also causes them to constantly cast ice nova. which of course as you know, that unlike cold damage, the ice nova will freeze anything indefinitely, even bosses.
BUT there are also some other pretty silly legenday effects ive seen which work against frozen enemies, such as 10,000% - thats right, percent, weapon damage against frozen things
man icenova hydra has easily got to be the best crowd control in the game.
soon as that hydra rises, everything it touches will cease to function.
but im also specced into cold ontop of this, coincidentally, reguardless that the mova will cast from any elemental hydra, so it just looks cool to match cold hydra with the nova effect. but anyway im specced into cold cause i figured the frozen orb would carry me through most of the early and mid game (up to t5 perhaps?).
oh man the orbs are smashing so hard in t4.
im easily geared to go into at least t6. but my exp rate is still very high in t4 even at paragon 140 or whatever im at, probably 150

this thing is a blast
no way in hell i would ever play this with a keyboard and mouse.
its not even funny how much more agile you can be in this game with a proper xbox controller.
theres not even any competition between both methods of play.
the stick aiming of the controller is at least twice as fast as mouseaiming. its really twitch-instant. and all the skills are under your thumbs at lighting speed.
the controller is like a musical instrument, only im playing slayer
