To me, D3 is the best ARPG. Enemy aggression and speed, damage effects, crowd control, and the coding efficiency to bring all this off -- it's just unparalleled imo. Firebird set with constant meteor/ignite damage is Hollywood spectacle/apocalypse.
Ice/cold is excellent, but I also like the Teleport Calamity rune, along with Black Hole and whatever the legendary gem is that amps damage against controlled enemies.
