....and yes
edward G robbinson really does a better job of depicting italians than real italians do. not just saying that as a fan-boi.
his performances are actually better than anything from the later godfather films, or any other italian themed movie.
there is a simplicity to his performance, to his character,
backed by a type of perfect accuracy
