RE: just so you know...
i dont want to explain too much of the scene and possibly spoil it for anyone,
but the circumstances of the story or the situation he was in, set up the line perfectly.
the use of the term was exactly as if it were to be used today. only the literal definition for it, of the time, was a bit more innocent
