RE: some good movies i would like to mention
Agree with your assessments. For a long time, Adam's Rib mazda'd along as a Tracy/Hepburn cult movie. Now it's mainstream must-see. Whatever. I've always liked it. Tracy and Hepburn are as good as you would expect, but I really like the supporting performances by David Wayne and Judy Holliday. Hepburn's interview scene with Holliday is some of the best acting I've ever seen.
