Subject: RE: ranking the golden age studios

anyway, i caught a fantastic movie last night that i wish you to know about.

"from here to eternity" starring burt lancaster and deborah kerr.
typically i avoid military flicks because they all tend to be the same but this one was an actual movie.
excellent film, a columbia picture.
deborah kerr really confuses me. she has the build and face of a strung out man, similar to pewee herman. her feet are a bit mangled and boyish too. but something about her, especially in this film, really seems desirable. she does have nice female legs and looks very good when wet, but its more than that. of course her performances were very exceptional as well.

turns out shes in another similar military movie which im about to see tonight, even ranked higher than this one. so looking forward to that.
this one seems even more unique, not only is it ranked higher but its also the earliest film i know of her, dating from 1943. she is quite young in this, and plays a female officer, but also seems to be sporting a greater amount of femininity, which is coupled with her young age
