I can tell you've never played Blood 2 multiplayer then.
It was such a broken mess that if Monolith was smart, they would've just put out a patch to disable it entirely. It was even worse than Quake 1 multiplayer, which was also a broken joke. It's a complete mystery how one of the worst dialup multiplayer experiences out there evolved into a multiplayer only game. Just in case I have to say it again, fuck Quake.
