I almost forgot. The hens eat barley, sorghum, and wheat but not corn. What they have against corn is anyone's guess. Since real-life chickens eat practically anything, including field corn, I am leaning toward the possibility that mine are extra-terrestrial. This hypothesis is strengthened by the fact that they don't need water. They get along fine without any hydration of any kind. So if you've heard people say that there will be no alien invasion because the aliens are already among us, now you know what they mean.
