yes, there were major plot holes and other nonsensical issues such as a 6 shot revolver firing 20 shots without ever reloading
yes, the budget was rather low for movie of this type. it certainly was no "alien" from 1979
yes, all in all, the film seems to be geared towards younger audience. like children, perhaps.
...but i still found escape from new york to be a bad ass movie.
best costume/actor combination ever.
young kurt russell in those digital arctic camo pants, and those strappy boots was immensely cool. ive also never seen him so young. he is a stunning example of the perfect male. i was so impressed.
