in about 80 hours of gameplay its typical to accumulate several hundred dragon bones with the main quest advanced at only 50 or 60%
so dragon weapons require 200 bones and 100 hides (i threw the hides in there because fuck leather strips)
each single armor piece requires 100 bones and 100 hides
