RE: yes...
yeah so anyway, the second most effective gameplay change aside from the weapons and ores, would be the unlock requirements for perks.
meaning you need to reach level 100 in lets say for example 2 handed weapons before you can unlock heavy armor.
this is not the actual rule i ended up using though.. im just using that as an example
my system is set up to where the better skills require unlocking the lesser skills.
2h in this game is monstrous. because the weapon speeds are faster. this makes 2h absolutely shred, its a total change in dynamics despite keeping the same formula of weapon speeds but simply adding a higher base number to them (2h hammer is still the "slowest" of the weapons, but its still much faster than vanilla) so you have to train properly by maxing out 1h and block like a proper newby before you can pick up 2h.
the only skills you have available in the start of the game are 1h, block, light armor, archery and smithing. the rest require certain skills to be at level 100 before you can unlock perks for them
with the ultimate skill being destruction magic (which i did slightly alter to be more powerful, this is actually where fortify buffs should have been used, rather than using fortify for 1h/2h/archery and smithing/alchemy)
so now magic is the only one which has "fortify" destruction enchants
and since magic is being the ultimate form of destruction, now you have to master all the lesser forms of destruction before you can unlock it.
you have to master all the other forms of combat such as 1h/2h/archery/smiting before the school of destruction is unlocked
