RE: Anybody read any good books lately?
So I'm not an asshole to asks a question like that without providing an answer: Last really great thing I read was Empire of Pain, about the Sacklers and how the family became the leaders of their drug empire. Non-fiction but had some incredible Godfather vibes. Despite a few slow chapters (mostly about Old Man Sackler's love for art) and the lack of an ending (the original version of the book came out while the Sacklers were still facing dozens of state lawsuits), it's a pretty gripping book that kept my attention the whole way through. anyway that's my take thanks for readin
