RE: Anybody read any good books lately?
Okay, I lied. I did some online adjunct teaching and had to re-read some things. One course was on the Brit Renaissance with no Shakespeare except some sonnets. So I had to re-read Thomas Hoby's translation of Castiglione's The Courtier (yes, big in England) and John Webster's The Duchess of Malfi. I also had to re-scan Dickens' Hard Times and Stevenson's Jekyll and Hyde for a nineteenth-century course. I didn't find a single picture.
