Meanwhile, I've discovered that I'm quite bad at V Rising. At first, I thought there was something wrong with my keyboard, but it turns out that I have an case of advanced case of gaming incompetence. When ILA gets tired of ressing me, I'll be permanently dead. The camera will pan back and you'll see me in some forsaken place, a little pile of vampire roadkill with the stench of death rising from my crumpled remains. Except I can't really die. I'm like Karl Malden in Nevada Smith, abandoned in the wilderness after getting shot by Steve McQueen in both knees and hands. It is the penalty of failure.
