RE: once again i have gotten it all wrong
In spite of the negative popular consensus, I've always liked Cleopatra. It's about 70% Shakespeare, 20% G.B. Shaw, and 10% Who Knows, but it's entertaining. Liz's wink at the end of the extravagant entry into Rome = gold. The barge scenes were great. Don't get me started on the costumes (Liz's, I mean -- everyone else's were ridiculous).
Underrated movie.
