Look I've been trying to be as nice as I can about the whole Spartacus debacle.
But Kirk Douglas in Spartacus and only in this film he has the likeliness of a chimp. They should have just hired Caveman.
He's such a dumb actor he really is. The whole film is just watching this uninteresting privileged idiot. And it's not even his fault. They cast them this way. It's something to do with the production. Somehow. Whomever is to blame. Maybe the writer or someone else I don't know
But Kirk Douglas definitely has some more interesting films that are much better than this. He is a very pleasant man to be around and to share my time with. Indeed
