RE: V Rising update
Elizabeth Taylor was an excellent actress. See Giant, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and especially Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. The production of Cleopatra was a mess. It's amazing they got any decent performances from anybody. They started without a finished script. All kinds of things went wrong and delayed scenes. While filming, Taylor almost died from pneumonia and had to have a tracheotomy (they tried to cover the scar with makeup, but you can see it in the movie anyway). This on top of everybody hating her for the Burton affair. It's not her best work, but I'd say she handled herself pretty well.
