RE: still an awesome game
Using pole arms with the capricious Hunter combat arts is totally badass. It totally wipes out everything quickly. Of course, it's not as good as range once again, but not even the shadow warrior can compare to this kind of devastating melee damage. He's definitely the best. Mainly character in the game who is at least outwardly focused on melee or something.
Plus on top of this, the dryad even has some kind of glitch where if you equip a certain type of staff. It literally just destroys everything on the screen. It creates hundreds of projectiles which auto target everything and such a large range that's like 100 screens beyond your own character. It's totally silly how this thing works. This character class is such ultimate power that even the glitches are like totally ridiculous. And it's an actual glitch. It's not something the devs did because they are cheeky. Like it's a genuine glitch
