The only thing I know about Captain Marvel is that Disney strong-armed theaters into reserving most of their availability to it, and almost nobody watched the film. Supposedly Disney was buying up the empty seats so they could still claim the movie had record ticket sales.
Also, you should google Brie Larsons feet if you want to understand why she will never star in a Tarantino film.
