3050 ti surpise
this gpu has gone miles beyond my expectations.
it rus everything i throw at it.
in max settings.

i am not even joking. not even slightly.
ryse, son of rome, max settings. 90fps.
havent tried cyberpunk. i suppose thats the most demanding game i can think of. just dont have it.
but all of my expectations have been thoroughly surpassed. even the vram usage. it turns out, 4gb is plenty for 1080p. plenty. its quite surprising how all this works. no mans sky was the most demanding vram usage, but it works. didnt load max textures on that one, had to select the optimized texture option. but this hardly made any visual difference, considering everything else was at maximum and blazing fast. close to 100fps.
i cannot believe how this GPU performs. IT USES NO POWER. average reported TGP is something like 30w. nigga my cell phone charger is the same wattage.
i monitor everything with rivatuner OSD. all ram settings are for both total ram and process ram. so the readout is definitely accurate for vram usage. and of course im not sure how accurate the TDP/TGP readouts are, but they seem to at least feel right.
cpu consumes average of 15w. and average of 25w when the cores are being loaded heavier. like when total cpu utilization is above 60% on all cores.
system never overheats or gets close to overheating either.
full occt power load runs stable forever. very decent overbuilt cooling. the pcb and cooling are the only things which are not cheap. i believe its the same from the legion 15 series...
all in all, i am impressed across the board. this is a gaming machine which can realistically go off grid on battery power somewhere in a cabin.
