The problem with the Borderlands series, Especially 2 through Tiny Tina is the loot system.
Its ridiculous and 99.9999999999% is total garbage. Playing Tiny Tina and BL2, BL3 with Sim has been the same thing. You finally find a decent weapon after a million drops and then you play hours and hours never finding anything that is better. You just wind up playing an inventory manager and trying to keep your stash from being full.
The gameplay is fun for a little while but it just becomes the same thing over and over again with the game just trying to spawn mobs on you when you least expect it. It gets old fast.
Sim is correct about the "woke-ness" of Tina Tina's. The game is full of LGBTQ comments and every single character we've run in to is gay in some way with a British accent.
Its enjoyable soo far and I try to ignore the gay pride stuff but its everywhere.
Its like being friends with a gay person that you know is gay but you dont care and are ok with it. Only to have them mention to you every 5 seconds that they are gay....
