book
The past few years I have been catching up on a major deficiency in my education: reading lit. Since I went science stream through uni (and of course grad school) I bypassed a lot of the canon. But its been really fun catching up with old classics and new stuff. Last year I finally read Moby-Dick and was stunned it was so damned entertaining and good, given its reputation.
I just got a recent translation of Don Quixote, which I will be starting once I finish last year's English translation of Solenoid by Mircea Cartarescu (which is fabulous).
What you reading, what should I be sure to read?
