RE: book
Of Faulkner I have only read Intruder In The Dust, which I really liked but it read like a screenplay to me (especially the final scene). I have a copy of Absalom! Absalom! on the shelf and plan to read it this year.
OK so I am afraid to confess that of the Devine Trilogy I have only read Inferno. I have them all though. I assume its worth a read? I am so so on a lot of the older classics (but it made The Oxen In the Sun in Ulysses more obvious), but managed to read the entirety of The Decameron during year one of the pandemic so maybe it will work?
Also have never read the Russians so will put Crime and Punishment and The Brothers on the to read list for this, my year of The Brick
