I mean, I hated everyone in The Sun Also Rises but I loved the book. With In Search of Lost Time I can't even get that much of a rise up about the boring upper classes. Wilde I hate them, so its fun to laugh at them, but Proust is just exhausting.
I'm still going to finish Swann's Way at least, because I am stubborn, but fuck the other 4 volumes of this tedious yet flowery scented garbage
