RE: Horizon Zero Dawn ruins you
It was a surprisingly great game for a having premise that's every 6 year old boy's dream (robot dinosaurs!). I think I mentioned it before, but I really love the backstory in the game. The player discovering what Project Zero Dawn is really about is one of those "oh shit" realizations that most games don't pull off or even earn, and I think a lot of Aloy's gumption and chipper attitude that you mentioned is a great counterpoint to the horror in the backstory (and in the audio logs).
