I have a circa 72 sorcerer and I am not using a Basic generator. I am using 3 conjuring skills; the blizzard and meteor enchants; the 4-mana-on-crowd-control affix; the mana from cooldowns affix; and the rest cold, CC, chill, injured, vuln, crit. No bubble when unhealthy but yes to the barrier on elite; dual hydras and a point into kill-while-burnt mana regen.
The patch, my defense suffered a little but the damge is still pretty great and resource is mostly up barely. I have 3 paragon boards going. Getting CC'd is the real problem right now.
