I don't want to give the impression that my sorc is completely useless. I can vaporize entire crowds of enemies with what is unquestionably the most powerful offensive move in the game. All I have to do is round up a bunch of them and kite them over to some elites, then pop Frost Nova and Ice Shards. With the Fireball and Ice Shards enchantments, along with the Shatter passive, they instantly disappear. It's really awe inspiring to watch.

And then I have to noodle around trying not to get hit while Frost Nova goes off cooldown and my mana bubble fills up again. And, of course, none of this does much good against tanky single targets who can't be frozen or crowd controlled very well. After two shots of Ice Shards, all I can do is hope a boss will be charmed by my cute little dances.
