Yes, I know the received wisdom. "Sim, if you're going to use fire spells, you need the Firebolt enchantment for the burning DOT perks." Yeah, I've tried that -- a lot. I've also tried the Avalanche passive for the super amazing 10% chance to recover spells. This might work if I could get enough mana to spam anything, but I can't. Also, most of those 5% or 10% chance procs are utterly broken.
I really don't have any trouble in Helltides with one shield, but it will be a different story in a Stronghold. Believe it or not, I am strongly considering doing without Teleport. I don't get much use out of it anyway.
