whatever part of the buffalo the kc strip is probably sucks. it sounds shitty. trust me on this one. get a fresh hunk of new yourk steak with the fat on it, stove top slow smoke it on a propane grill thats like 2.5ft wide, then sear each indavidual steak one by one on an open flame for a few mins.
