The fact that you just don't get it doesn't make it invalid.
You have your site, so you can do whatever you want here. Absolutely no one is obligated to opt in to constant derision and abuse. If that's what you enjoy, then you can certainly have it. Not all of us want it, and we don't have to want it. It's no less "mature" or "enlightened" to prefer not to participate in it.
You want to believe that you're some Zen master of internet trolling and that it's all in good fun and nothing should ever touch anyone personally (even when the derision and attacks are deliberately made personal.) Well, it's bullshit. You have a preference for base, irreverant behavior without excuse or end. You enjoy your pig-sty and you think it's fun to wallow in it and throw shit. You're in plenty of company. There's 4chan and somethingawful and rotten and on and on. That's all fine, but don't pretend that anyone who DOESN'T want to participate in that is an uptight idiot. That's laughable.
