I heard the action never picks up more than what you see in the first 10 minutes of the film. I also heard Simon Pegg's, Scotty, and Sulu are just bit parts that never really work well. All and all, I may see it for no other reason than a mediocre movie becomes a summer blockbuster when there's nothing better out.
