Subject: Video card not receiving power: WTF?

Got the machine put together. First test run: motherboard indicator lights come on, system fans come on, video card fan is not on, monitor is not receiving a signal. Bad video card? Faulty cables coming from power supply? The damn thing has two power connectors, and they're both plugged in; the PCI-E power connectors coming from the power supply aren't numbered, so I guess it doesn't matter which order they go in.
