What happened is Sim got sick of muppets horseshit and left (just like everyone else on his loser forum), but did it in a polite manner by privately emailing that his reasons really had nothing to do with muppet at all so he doesn't go all psychotic and off himself when reality doesn't line up with his fantasy butthole delusions.
It's not easy to watch someone go through a midlife crisis when they act all emotional by created web forums, threatening to take them down, announcing it's over for good just to bring it back again and play some sort of digital treefort gatekeeper like they're 8 years old again. It's also probably hard for Sim to watch someone commit financial suicide every day by watch someone who lives paycheck to paycheck squander everything they have on gimmick toys and flip out begging for internet handouts the moment an unexpected expense comes in. These are things we find funny over here, mainly because muppet is a douchebag and no one really gives a fuck about him, but Sim is probably a little more sensitive.
