I stopped reading this thread when I saw you mention Jade Empire.
I remember you talking about that game when it came out and it sucked so much shit I had to disregard almost every game you've recommended since. Pretty much all Bioware games are massive turds except maybe MDK2. I tried to play their Star Wars game once and that was even worse. In case you're wondering, yes, the first thing I did was mute the music. All John Williams music sounds like he organized a fully epileptic orchestra and turned on a strobe light. I don't know how that franchise ever made any money to begin with, but there must be some special type of mindlessness it appeals to.
I have played Ghost, but I got bored before I got very far. The only thing I remember is they give you this beat up straw hat at first and that was the only thing I cared about getting upgraded, but it seemed I had to go through all this bullshit story about the plight of farmers before I could do that so I stopped playing.
