I'm clearing most places with stealth, though I enjoy the open combat. I've fought four of the five ronin on the way to Kojiro, and I'm dreading that fight but I want the cool armor.
Creating the diversion for the pirates with Uncle Shimura was quite fun because he kept talking about how great I was. Then it all turned to poo when I had to shoot the rockets at the Mongol ships. Hitting the ships wasn't hard. Actually seeing them through all the smoke and clutter was difficult at times.
I'm taking a long time to get through the game because I keep going off on fox chases and clearing fishing camps and the like. I do a lot of collecting and upgrading, so I still haven't done Castle Kaneda but I have fully upgraded my katana, long bow, and Osaku armor.
Even though I like the combat, I'm not very good at it. Lady Masako almost whipped me if that gives you any idea.
You have inspired me to practice with the flute more. I want to make it a trademark mannerism like Mifune's flea scratching in Yojimbo. Another thing I want is to shoot that idiotic golden bird. Maybe there's a mod.
