RE: Ghost of Tsushima
Okay, I finished the DLC. It took me forever because, again, I collect and upgrade everything and do as many activities as I can stand. The only things I didn't do were collecting all the records and banners and that kind of thing. I also blew off the archery challenges simply because I don't see much point in all the concentration gooberism.
Of course, I had to get armor for my horsey, and I was pleased when the main story gave me the cool saddle bags. I went through the stupid bokken duels solely to have access to the red dye guy. Turns out his stuff was complete crap. Also, he should have been the DLC villain instead of that trailer trash grandma.
I got very tired of the animal sanctuaries, but I did them for the stupid achievement. Also did the lighthouses and the forts and the whole thing, mainly because the places with combat were pretty fun.
I finally figured out how to dodge (lol) but I never did get reliable perfect dodges. I started to get perfect parries fairly regularly, but mainly with sword guys. The spear chuckleheads were just too fast for me. By the end of the game, pretty much everybody was doing unblockable crap, so I was mostly just skittering around and using ghost weapons.
I really liked how cinematic the story was, both in the base game and in the DLC. If I could improve one thing, it would be making the waypoints more visible. The wind was okay, but they really should have made objectives easier to locate from further away.
