Eh, I just went to the Ubisoft site and made an account back when I got Assassin's Creed Origins. I think I had to log in once on Steam to start up the game. After that, I was never bothered by them again. AC Odyssey and Far Cry 6 started right up. You can use a key combination to invoke their overlay if you want, but they don't intrude.
