RE: The new Beetlejuice movie
I didn't hate the whole thing. Jenna Ortega was excellent as Astrid. Keaton was fun as usual. Catherine O'Hara is always good. Everybody else was okay, I guess. I can't figure out why they made Lydia such a sad sack character. Winona Ryder did a good job, but it must have been a hateful part.
The long MacArthur Park ending was terrible. It completely undid everything good about the rest of the movie.
