Running Blood
VMware running a windows98SE guest OS:
fast as hell and sound and everything syncs. With network bridgin i should be able to get bloodbath going. BUT any mode other than the default 320x200 scrambles the screen. looking for a solution.
DOSbox:
needlessly slow, but networking sound and video modes all work. but its needlessly slow. it could run 800x600 decent on a core 2 quad, 1024x768 if you can put up with lower fps.
Install goddamned windows98:
i guess this is the way to go. except i'd have to figure out network games somehow. i dont think hamachi works in win9x
