for some reason people are buzzing about petes wicked ale.
personally i hate beer on a "drinking" level. i do like to sample rare varieties of beer thoe.
usually when going into the world of fancy beers, your either getting a beer with hints of fruity crap like fat tire or extreme dry/hoppy flavors like sierra neveda or combinations of said above with herbs or spice mixed into it. me, i like the black/stout beers. some russian stouts are really good. with the burnt sugar caramely/coffee taste without the shit that sticks onto your tounge - the sulphery aftertaste. sam adams black is supprizingly good, but there are also a few brands of beer that do remarkably well in the stout area.
