Ah, I looked at the source and it seems I left out a > sign.

The mangoes I ate looked a lot like these:

But, I'm not sure that's the same variety, after looking at more pictures on Google Images. Alphonso mangoes seem to have a more fiery orange color to the pulp, where my mangoes had rather a ruddy yellow peach color to the pulp.
