You can hardly go wrong with any Czech pilsner. Why not just have a Pilsner Urquell?
You know why not? Because Belgium style pale ales are much more pleasant to drink. Perhaps a Duvel. If I'm drinking at a bar, many now carry Blue Moon on tap (better than bottled, IMO). And while it's a very american, and weakened interpretation of a belgium pale ale, it's is still fairly tasty and very easy to drink.
I personally have yet to find any microbrew bear that I like over some of my choice "big brand" beer. Maybe that's just me.
You don't go too wrong with a Paulaner, either.
