for his first LA show he came down my street along with the universtal tram tour packed with people and literally stoped infront of my building. (our buildings side overlooks lankershim and whipple). he went into the 99cent store and bought a bunch of crap and bailed out, which was actually a purchase made by his studio people 3 days earlier and was all ready for him to snag and grab off-camera. his whole bit was to find something close to him like the 99 cents only store and make fun of it because its cheap/ghetto and its so close to him. but he failed to point how my particualr corner has a bmw dealership and a 99 cents store right across from it. its the wierdest thing everybody makes fun of and he ignored it.
anywhoo, i remeber seeing the tram around 3 weeks before the episode aired, all the streets were blocked off and the entire tram was shouting out conans name. if i would have known he was actually there i would have lauched water balloons at him or called down a massive flock of crows with my duck caller.

, going right about a click or two shows the whole intersection.
