I'm glad you taught me all about diesel. Diesel is more "efficient" because diesel fuel contains more energy than petrol. I didn't comment on reliability, because yes, diesels typically do last longer because the components in the engine are more substantial. But it's not so easy to claim that anyways since it really depends on the engine. Back in the 80s, GM tried taking some of their gas engines and do some slight mods to turn them into diesels - they were epic fail. I'm all about old mercedes diesels, and the modern euro and japanese ones are great. AUDI won at least a couple LeMans races with TDIs... But lets get back on point, dipshit... I said "It's superior to petrol engines? Maybe economy-wise, but hardly performance." - which was in reference to your particular diesel - which isn't high performance. Around 230ft-lbs of torque isn't bad, but like 150hp aint too great.
Just quick question - is it a regular auto, or is it a dsg?
