what part of compression detonation dont you understand? its pure physics. instead of using an airy shitty electric spark with minimilistic half assed compression, diesels are pure pwn explosion. compression is an engines lead governing factor in both performance and economy. what produces more of a concentrated transfer of energy? taking a drop of gas and burning in an empty cave or taking a drop of gas and ramming into a concentrated ball of air pressure? diesel fuel is shitty fuel, not more energy in it than gasoline. what online fail encyclopedia did you pull that one out of? diesel is the shit they made over 9000 years ago with primitive refining methods. its priced higher because its either the cheap leftover of making a quality and more marketable gasoline OR it costs them more to produce it because they can take the same oil and refine it into a more profitable and marketable gasoline.
