RE: Just bought a new Volkswagen.
LOL - i havent had a good laugh that hard on you in quite some time.
so far ive proven your stupid ass wrond atleast 3 times. and yet you still continue... my god man, how do you find the courage.
compression ignition dosent exist without high compression, i use the term compression ignition to point out the engines high compression. which again, is the most important governing factor is performance AND economy. i wont argue about how diesel fuel may contain more energy since i have never botherd to ever research it. but it just seems silly that a primitive fuel would contain more energy than the more refiened, more explosive gasoline. gasoline has a much quicker and stronger detonation which is what makes it a more "powerfull" fuel. its overall energy content per size might be lower, but the rate where the energy is released from it is much higher - which is what exactly makes it a more
powerfull
fuel. so any statement i made on diesel being a weaker fuel is completley accurate. diesel fuel is perfect for a disel engine, u take a less explosive gas and make it more explosive - on the fly - via compression. this still stands as the most efficiant engine fuel burning method. everything i said was completley valid. modern diesel engins perform very well - just as good as modern 4-6 cylinder 1.6-2.2ltr gasoline engines. there is absolutley no point in manufacturing gasoline engines for low-mid end coupes/sedans/trucks/suv/whatever, which make up the majority of vehicles on the road. the only thing that should remain gasoline powerd are high end sports cars and motorcycles.
you fail.
