It doesn't matter what the size of the disk is. The force is 10 PSI. That means you have the same 10 psi on the far left square inch of the disk as you have on the right. You could try to make the problem more difficult by including the size of the disk, but all the numbers are just going to cancel out.
so 1) Fa - Fb = Ft, i.e. 0 - 10 = -10, so take the absolute value of that and you get 10 psi
apply the same to 2) and you get 5 psi
